The Local Organizing Committee of 15th ICAM has great pleasure to inviting you attending the 15th International Congress for Applied Mineralogy (ICAM) on 20-25 August 2023 in Chengdu, Sichuan, China. Since its establishment in 1981, ICAM congress has been conducted constantly for fourteen times in Asia, Europe, America, Australia, and Africa. This is the second time that China has been granted the opportunity to hold such important international conference related to applied mineralogy after the successful 11th ICAM 2013 in Mianyang. We believe that the congress will be a great success with the full support from the Chinese scientists and associations in communities of mineralogy.

The congress will be held at Sichuan Tianfu New Area Innovation Research Institute of SWUST in Chengdu, Sichuan Province. Chengdu has always enjoyed the reputation of being a "Heavenly Land of Plenty" since ancient times. Through an exciting range of pre and post Congress field trips, you can experience China’s innovations and natural wonders. 

The 15th ICAM congress is aimed at further strengthening worldwide academic exchange and cooperation in Applied Mineralogy, and offer a such platform for scientists and engineers to discuss recent research progress with a focus on future trends on applied mineralogy and promote interdisciplinary cooperation. Furthermore, the congress is a support program to encourage young delegates to attend.
